Not much to do this morning except repack our bags ready for LA. Flight leaves at 2.40 this arvie. My suitcase has put on weight already so its pretty much already near its maximum weight. I'm guessing that means that we need to buy Nate a full size suitcase while were in LA so I can offload. We also got to watch SF 49ers advance to the next round of the playoffs after a good win.
Oh and re the title of this post - Don managed to block the toilet for the second time in the last 5 days here at the hotel. The poor little maintenance man that came up to unclog it dry retched the whole time - maybe we should have tipped the poor bugga hahahah
Our flight from Honolulu to LA was probably one of the best flights we've ever done. Nil issues boarding etc, albeit that there were a number of security checkpoints to clear. Luggage book-in was also something we've never done before - all self service. Scan your boarding pass, weigh your own suitcase then put your own sticky tag on. There are attendants that check you've done it right but otherwise you're on your own.
We made it out of LAX pretty easily and into our shuttle bus to the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel Id booked looks a bit nasty so Im hoping that at least there's no bed bugs.
