You got the money we have the time

Started our day with breakfast vegas style – buffet.  We learned one thing pretty quickly already – the room comes with pretty much nothing – anything you want you need to add it on and pay for.  Simple things like coffee maker and fridge aren’t included so everything you have to buy, including wifi (which we aren’t paying for which is also why the blog has stalled).  Nate also learned yesterday that they closed the pool for winter so there no swimming for him.  Weve only been here a short while and already I have a strong dislike for the ciggy smoke.  There are people who pretty much just sit here and gamble, drink and smoke all day - pretty shocking.

After breaky we were picked up by the Wyndham resort bus to go over and see their new property and listen to a timeshare presentation. The resort was beautiful and our sales associate Bethann was lovely and it seemed to be a good value deal.  The only hiccup as usual is the cost.  We got delivered back to our hotel by limo which was also kinda nice.  We also got our vouchers so that was legit at least and sorta made it worth our time – about $300 in value in the end.

After lunch we ventured out to outer LV to find a chiropractor for Tony.  His knee pain has not settled at all and now his hips were joining in giving him beans.  We found one nearby called ‘The Joint’ and they have a walk in no appointment thing.  So we parted with a measly $19 and Tony got cracked - he enjoyed it!.

We had a bit of time to spare so thought a quick visit out to the Gold & Silver Pawn shop ( from Pawn Stars on tv) would be in order.  We went out to the southern end of the strip, which I might add is the dodgy end of town with wall to wall pawn shops and bail bonds offices.  It was pretty easy to find sue to the long queue outside.  We didn't stay long, we decided to do the 'foxtel' visits tomorrow.

We decided in the evening to use our voucher and check out the evening buffet.  Cant say we loved it, was edible but we’re not in a hurry to go back there.  Nate and I were chuffed with the chocolate fountain but that was definitely the highlight.  We planned to do the mega buffet thing which was a 24 unlimited visit buffet pass to the Caesars group hotels - after one we decided not to.  After we had our full it was time to go out onto the strip to see it at night.  Must say its much prettier at night - daytime its not really much to look at.

The highlight of our walk amongst the lights was the fountain show at the Bellagio.  It was actually quite close to our hotel so we were able to get a great view without going far.  It happens every 15 minutes 24/7, complete with opera music.  Was just beautiful and very romantic.
